Olympic EDM

Installed a new 350 Amp, 480 Volt, three-phase, 4 wire service for Olympic EDM, a precision parts
manufacturing company. Reconnected the existing load to the new service. Provided power to a
high pressure Water Jet cutting machine (125 amp, 480 Volt).

KHS required more power for the machines in the technology lab. This need was addressed via
separate branch circuits confirming to load requirements. Along the way we came across a
pertinent safety issue concerning the tech machinery. When the power came back after a power
failure the machines would self-start which posed a threat to the students. A new restart system
was put into place that allowed for safe shutting off procedures.
